Less than eight hours and my plane will take off from the Seutula airport. Fifteen minutes after that momentous occasion, Sari’s flight will start its journey toward Copenhagen/London/Glasgow. My via is Bryssel.
Thursday the 4th it’ll start. The 63rd Worldcon. My third, Sari’s first. I still remember ten years ago, when Intersection happened at the same city. John Brunner died, Moscow was bidding for the 2017 Worldcon and the cab drivers were unable to give change for a tenner. I guess some of those things are highly unlikely to repeat themselves, but I’m still sceptical about Glaswegian Taxi services.
Normal service will resume after the event (8th of Aug), but in case Ibis has a free (or cheapo) connection, we might be sufficiently crazed to post a wee bit of con-stuff here. If not, then not.
